"It was ok. I don't think it really is what I think of as a "boutique hotel". This was a former B&B, so it's basically a nice B&B without breakfast. I will say it was nice having coffee downstairs in the morning, but either have some good pastries or don't put out at all. The very dry mini-muffins and little scones were not great. Luckily we got a good deal, and some of their other properties look worth checking out. Service was great though- they were very responsive to my texts. I think...
"If you're looking for a unique and interesting place to stay in Duluth this is a great fit! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and it is located in a beautiful and historic area. "
"The room was wonderful and felt more like a small apartment instead of a hotel room. The building had a lot of historic character. The bed was extremely comfortable for a good night rest and the location was peaceful and quiet."
"In Duluth for the run, stayed at Fitgers. Relaxing, clean, friendly stay with polite and helpful valet. Dining and shopping all connected. Perfect weekend away"
"Ideally set directly next to the lift bridge and minutes drive to the Aquarium and Train Museum! Easy in and out and lots of dining just over the bridge! Our second stay here! Highly recommend!"
"Beautiful setting, upgraded to a balcony, no reason why ,but beautiful view of Lake Superior, convient to walk to several resteraunts and shops. Would recommend"
"Worth getting the Club level rooms on the 6th floor for a lovely view of the lake. Parking is weird, but oddly accessible/convenient once you lnow what's going on. Fitgers/Pickwicks and other dining a short walk away. Be aware: no direct beach access."
"Great location, helpful friendly staff, rooms need updating/refresh, badly worn carpets, excess wear and tear on dressers(drawers wouldn’t stay closed, walls beat up in need of repair, please provide 4 pillows per queen bed:)"

"This was a clean facility with extremely helpful staff. No sign of bed bugs. The pool looked very nice, though we didn't get a chance to use it. The continental breakfast was good, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt. And the breakfast area was clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again. "
