It was sublimely quiet, nice and clean and close to several great walks to the shore. We loved watching snow fall past the huge windows and looking at the stars from the deck at night. »

« We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property with its trees and views of the nearby lake. A lovely cottage with good size beds and lounger. There was an efficient, well-equipped kitchen though we mostly barbecued and ate outside in the picnic area under the trees and open sky. The vintage claw foot with a skylight looking upwards to the treetops was a nice treat. The covered cabana was a great place to read and relax. Wanted to max out our nature experience and had a comfortable sleep in...

« The cottage had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the country setting. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends that need a tranquil getaway. When we arrived there were beautiful flowers and freshly baked cookies to welcome us which we didn’t expect. Our overall stay was amazing. »

« Rowan Cottage is a gem, and the location is stunning. It was perfect for us in every way - from the luxurious master with the most comfortable king bed, to the fully stocked kitchen to the fabulous views from almost every room. There was more than ample space for the two of us. We really loved the privacy, and enjoyed a couple of meals on the terrace in the sunshine. The sunsets were incredible. We hope to return many times, as we haven't found anything else that compares. »
