« L'hôtel est très bien placé (à 2 minutes de la gare et du centre), simple et propre. Petit inconvénient pour la salle de bain partagée : au 1er étage pour une chambre en rez de chaussée (néanmoins, présence d'un lavabo bien pratique dans la chambre). Le petit déjeuner est très correct (choix entre anglais et continental, fruits frais,...). Intérêt particulier (aux beaux jours) : une piscine à l'arrière, dans le jardin... Bon rapport qualité-prix... Je n'hésiterais pas à revenir. »

« Wonderful few days away to celebrate the new year with friends. House was just what we needed and the scones with clotted cream and jam left by the owners was a lovely touch.With the house just minutes from the beach, the cars were parked up at the start of the break and not used again until we left.Will definitely look to book again for next year. »

« Cosy seaside village with plenty of nice places to eat and drink. Few minutes walk to the beach and all pubs and restaurants. »

« There were 17 of us staying and it was perfect for us all. Plenty of space, comfortable accommodation, fantastic facilities, beautiful views. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. There were a couple of issues with door handles. One fell off all the time and one was impossible to lock. But, apart from that, it was perfect. »

« We stayed at Saltwater over the Christmas period and was able to enjoy all that Shaldon has to offer at this time of year.Saltwater was a great property for the two of us. It is in an ideal position with its own parking (which is a must in the village), close to the centre and all the activity. It was an ideal size for us, spotlessly clean and decorated for Christmas for our arrival- which was a very nice touch.Thank you! »

« First impressions when walking in are mind your head! The downstairs bedrooms and toilet/bathrooms are very nice, the bedrooms having enough space for all of us. Upstairs is a sight to behold. The seating areas , including the pool table give a really spacious feeling to the property. When we walked in, it was Wow!!!. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for the 6 of us. « Rose was a great host, communicating clearly before our arrival and throughout. The lodge is bigger than it looks in the listing, comfortable and very well equipped (tea, coffee facilities, toiletries, games and books). I was slightly concerned about the proximity to the road initially, but it is very well screened by the trees and sound proofing is excellent. If the weather was a bit better, the outdoor area looked nice. All in all, a really great experience and one we wouldn't hesitate to use...

« The Hayloft was an amazing place to stay x The views were amazing especially at sunset. The bedrooms were lovely all en-suite and with extra touches like a hairdryer in every one.
