« Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants. »

« The property is a detached house with an apartment at ground level and another at 1st floor level; each with its own access. It is surrounded by approximately one half of an acre. There is a good sized pool to the rear of the house. On the plus side we found the furniture to be of a high standard, and the apartment is spacious for a one bed . « This was our first visit to Nevis was it was wonderful! Can't say enough good things about the island, the people, the food, and especially this house. What a find! The location was awesome - a nice quiet area with the beach as the backyard. The house was clean, well stocked, and plenty big for our family of six. « We had a wonderful time on Nevis! The property was all that we could wish for: nicely appointed, great kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, screened verandas, and of course, the pool. Elegant, graceful, spacious, with one of the best caribbean views (and pool), you will not be disappointed. « Our host, Austin, made all the arrangements for worry free arrival and departure. A cab met us at the airport in St Kitt's and took us to the water taxi. Austin met us on the Nevis side and drove us to the cottage where our rental car was waiting in the driveway. The cottage was very comfortable with a lovely verandah and gorgeous views.
