« Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back. »

« Perfect location, kitchen and set up for me to work and hike from. Super well kept. The hosts are great to respond. There is no noise insulation - I heard everything above and beside me and my neighbors were unhappy that I was working (on calls) early on a holiday week / weekend. They tell you on arrival (not before booking) that the building has a very sensitive smoke alarm - it went off twice while I was there because other guests cooking (burnt stuff). »

« Clean space that actually ended up feeling spacious. No issues and didnt end up needing to communicate with anyone. Just a wonderful, private stay. There was snow and it was hard to tell where we were supposed to drive and as nothing was shoveled or marked. The place is up steep hills from downtown White Salmon. If the weather had been any worse or we had not had 4 wheel drive it would have been kind of scary. It is close to Hood River but the bridge between is narrow and a mile long and...

« Back again to my favorite location to stay on the river. As always, the cabin is clean and well taken care of each year. We love the view of the river and the close location to town. Thanks once again as staying at the Riverside Cabin is the best part of our trip. »

« This was a perfect home base for our explorations further up the Columbia Gorge, to nearby cross country skiing at Teacup, and around Hood River. The place was spacious and comfortable and has a stunning view of Mt Hood (when it's clear out!). »
