« Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest...

« The host is lovely. Cabin is clean and cozy. Trails are a mixed bag. To the lookout is very passable but the others seem to be getting overgrown. The lookout is spectacular. Location is IDEAL. We drove all around northern VT and all over the white mountains. Beauty in every direction. »

« Had everything we needed, quiet and scenic spot to explore the lake, state park, fall color, and northern lights. The porch was a great spot to watch ducks and loons in the morning and sit in the sun. The cabin was well stocked (kitchen items, linens, firewood, games) and was a great spot for a lazy day too. Megan was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay! »

« There is no heat in this cabin, only a decorative gas stove that partially works. Thermostat on wall does nothing. Owner has a binder on table with instructions for lighting stove, but the stove does not actually provide any heat. I texted Wayne, the property manager and he said switch on back of stove circulates warm air and thermostat on wall regulates heat, wrong, neither one works. I did not stay and reported the issue to Vrbo and Vacasa, a refund was not issued because their policy states...

« This was our second stay at the cabin and it was just as good as the first visit. Saralyn and Adam have made some great improvements including upgrading the internet and adding a swing bench just off the deck. The surrounding area is beautiful both in NH and VT but the property is so nice on its own that we were happy just spending time in the evening down by the brook with a fire going. The inside is very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Very cozy when it's cooler...
