"We only had one night in Ribe with our two teenage children, so wanted accommodations with plenty of space. Storkesøen was perfect! We had a large a-frame cabin with three bedrooms and a full kitchen. it was so nice to hit the grocery store and be able to come back and make dinner and breakfast. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. We did have to pay additional per person rate for linens (bath towel and sheets) but traveling from overseas it required. "The hosts were very attentive to everything we needed and extremely friendly. Far enough away from the city to enjoy the quiet of the countryside, but close enough to get into the city within 10 minutes. Would love to come back and walk the trail when everything is in bloom. "Everything has been great from the moment we checked in. Admittedly it was during a rare Danish heatwave but the staff are super, handy shop on site. The pool is great with the slides. On site cafe has a limited menu by good for us. Accommodation is just what we needed, well equipped kitchen, excellent free WiFi. Site is quiet and the coastline is amazing onto the Fjord. "

"The place was quaint and idyllic and located in a lovely area. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a mixup where they gave us an uncleaned room and as they had no reception it was difficult to get it sorted out. Besides that it was very nice"

"Smart, basic accommodation in a great location for local attractions. We took our own bedding and towels and the beds were comfortable enough. Although no extras eg washing up liquid etc was provided, the kitchen was well equipped with utensils and crockery. Perfectly adequate for our holiday as we were out most of the time. The only thing if you are travelling with a crawling/toddling baby is all the floor in the living area was tiled and there was nowhere safe really other than the cot/high chair to put the baby whilst in the house. It was about a 20 minute walk to Lalandia centre from our lodge and the facilities there are fantastic. The supermarket seemed to have most things that you might need and although pricey, we didn't think it was out of the way expensive for a Danish resort shop. All in all, would absolutely recommend a holiday to Lalandia."
