Hotel and room was clean but there was no warm water for shower, no fans in bathrooms and tv remote did not work very well. I would give it a try another time but no ET on completion. I feel we should have been told that the hotel was under construction. Lots of sawing, hammering and noise. Location was good »

« My wife and I stayed two nights here and it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is behind the owners house but they have put blinds in the cabin and also have a privacy fence between the house and the cabin so we did have privacy. They provide you with a remote to open the gate so you can come and go as you please. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple just looking to get away. We brought a puzzle and assembled it during our stay. »

But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. « If you are looking for a tidy little cabin to be 'home base' for a stay in the shadow of Pilot Mountain - This is it. The host was very attentive to my requests and quickly attempted to rectify a noise coming from the H2O heater.
