This cabin was just adorable and perfect for us and our two young grandchildren. The location is very convenient to Marrienville for access to stores and some nice restaurants (Bettina’s italian was great!). It ia about a 15 drive to the state park, so really close. When arriving we did not have a comforter on our bed but the owner was able to bring one within a few hours. The backyard was big and the axe throwing and firepit look like a great time, but we got unlucky with a snow/rain storm during our stay. « very beautiful property. although was not expecting it to be so close to the road. everything was wonderful except for the patio down below has a bee's nest built behind the couch I was stung twice our dog was stung multiple times. the water inside of the camp the hot is cold and the coldest hot the door knob needs fixed just small things minus that we enjoyed our stay »

« Wonderful, quaint, and cozy cabin settled along a lovely creek. All 8 of us plus our 2 dogs had a lovely time playing lots of games, hiking, and ping pong tournaments. House has plenty of heaters, towels, kitchen pots and pans. We truly enjoyed our stay! »

« The cabin was just as advertised. The girls loved exploring the common areas outside and walking the paths through the woods. The cabin itself was fairly clean. The one window had a small crack and the bedroom window didn't shut completely (fixed while we were there) but overall was very nice. The back deck/fire pit was welcoming. We were able to roast hotdogs the first night but it rained the entire second day of our stay. We tried to play the Wii that was provided but couldn't seem to get it...

« Overall, this met all of our needs and then some. We loved the renovated cabin and the convenient location. We didn’t love how loud it was with the traffic zooming by, but it didn’t bother us enough to affect our stay. Our kids enjoyed the games provided and the cozy beds. We were a bit fearful of the loft area as there is a spot where the kids could fall over if they weren’t being careful.
