« My best friend and I chose Sandstone for our annual girls trip this past Labor Day weekend. While the dirt road was semi terrifying to get there, once we arrived, we had an amazing time. The space was perfect for wine drinking and self-care we planned to do. The rain changed our plans to use the fire pit, but even with the rain we still say outside for tea. Thank you to Cheryl and Derrick! You were very communicative and made the process very easy and enjoyable! »

« The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. « Our first trip to west Virginia couldn't have been better, the Tiny Barn is the perfect size for us and our pup. We wish we could have stayed longer, the property was peaceful and beautiful. Kim, our host, was kind enough to give some hiking recommendations and we saw shooting stars at night! Absolutely magical trip, we will definitely try to stay again! »

« This cottage was perfect for the intended purpose of getting away and still being close to town if we needed to run out and get back quickly. Parking area is small so if you have a large truck it will be a tight fit. »
