This second-floor, three-bedroom, two-bath, pet-friendly condo with a split bedroom arrangement and open-concept with vaulted ceiling, is ideal for two families. Spacious and bright, there is room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their beach vacation in style! The roomy living room is comfortable for family movie night.

This family-friendly unit includes a washer and dryer, so there's no vacation laundry necessary when arriving back home. But we warn you–it's truly hard to leave here! It's conveniently located just across the street from 230 feet of our own private stretch of the shimmering white sands and glittering emerald waters that make Destin beaches famous.

Chateau La Mer is a desirable, family-oriented complex, perfect for a peaceful get-away. And don't leave Fido behind! There are large expanses of lawn and sidewalks along the gorgeous beach. Walk to restaurants. Cool off in the large community pool that is seasonally heated. Try your hand at tennis or shuffleboard, located on-site. Prepare local delicacies on the complex's outdoor grills. Or make arrangements to entertain in the neighborhood clubhouse. There is no through-traffic, so families with children can easily enjoy the outdoors.

Great location
The beach is across the street which is really nice for large groups as some could stay at the beach and some could back to the apartment. We went in September which was the perfect time because it wasn’t too busy for parking at the apartment. Overall very clean and accurate listing.

Great stay!
Girls trip= 5 ladies and 1 pug. Walking distance to the beach and sparkling pool next to the unit. Clean and very comfortable accommodations. Plenty of room and the split floor plan was nice. Beach service was an added bonus!

Location of this property is perfect! Private entrance to the beach so it wasn’t to crowded. Condo was clean and perfect for the 6 of us. You could easily fit 8-10 comfortably.

This was our fourth year staying at these properties. Every unit that we have stayed in has never let us down! Very clean and quiet area. The location is close to several activities, beach, restaurant's and things to see and do. Fabulous accommodations! We will definitely be back.

Best place so far
We spent fall break here and it was the best place we have stayed over the last 13yrs we have been coming to the gulf coast of FL. It was hard to leave. We hope to come back to same unit. Great location and lots of space. Could use minisplit for gulf facing rooms. Thanks for having us. j

This is our first Vrbo experience and were a little nervous. But we will pursue this again. Our kids didn't want to leave. This place was almost as big as our house. Very spacious! The heated pool was a huge plus as the weather in March was a bit cold to fully enjoy Beach water temperature. 🌊 This house comes fully equipped with just about anything you'd like to cook. Option to do laundry was great. Just bring a few dryer sheets. The check in and check out process was so smooth. The walking distance to the private beach was great!

Our time in Destin was awesome. The location of the property, the weather, communication with Bobbie the manager, the beach in walking distance I just had a absolute great time. We will be returning next year. Recommend this property to anyone.

We enjoyed ourselves in Destin. Condo is a little dated but clean and pictures are accurate. Great location to pool and beach. Laundry facilities were helpful and close by. We would definitely return.

Great location and the condo was lacking a bit
We had a great time in Destin and the condo was an adequate place for our family to sleep. We will definitely go back but will likely opt to use a different property. There were a few cockroaches we killed (not completely out of the norm for a beach home) and management is is impossible to get in touch with after 6 pm. So if you have any troubles or issues come up there is no way at all to get in contact with them until morning. Also, the until lacks measuring cups, spoons and other standard cooking supplies. We were also a little disappointed we had to drive 3/4 of a mile to get to the office to do laundry instead of having one in the condo to use. Considering the wide range of property choices in Destin we will likely find one that better suits our needs next time.

Great Location
Our family of 9 stayed here for a week and we really loved the location! Everything we needed was in this condo! We were able to BBQ on the grill just outside and swim at the pool just across the parking lot. Great bang for your buck! I would definitely rent this condo again. It's not perfect, as in super updated, but all the essentials are there, so it's perfect in that sense. We really were just there to eat and sleep as we were out at the beach most of the time! (Perfect walking distance!)

Four starts for lack of the and half
We loved the location, it is really right at the beach. We also liked how well stocked the place is with cooking and eating utensils and the fact that the place was nicely cooled to 80 degrees when we arrived. But we didn't like the out of balance fan in one of the rooms that would make sound every few minutes. The place was clean but the carpets has coffee stains and looks old. There were chocolate paper raps under the bed and we had to go buy toilet paper because there was only one roll in the bathrooms. Coffee machine was great, but with no sugar or coffee keurig pods it was useless. You have to buy salt, pepper and oil to be able to cook.

Location was perfect and convenient, sleeping arrangements were great for our family, we really needed a washer and dryer but we managed!!! Loved our stay, will definitely stay again!
