There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and the furniture and beds were very comfortable! There was so much beautiful art to enjoy. The outdoor space was wonderful! We enjoyed the outdoor bar, dart board and the hot tub! The shops, museum, saloons and restaurants were within walking distance. The place was well stocked and there was a lovely surprise waiting for us, which we appreciated! The host is friendly and responsive. Four of us older adults stayed in Jeff's beautiful log home for 6 nights - which he occupies himself during the slow season. The two beds we slept in were very comfortable but we each could have had our own bed! It is a very comfortable log home with a beautiful back deck which we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy every day. He is a collector and there are many beautiful and interesting art pieces in his home. Jeff was very generous with us and we all appreciated it. We would highly recommend if you're looking for something comfortable rather than spartan and immaculate. It's homey and comfortable. And a great location, even during Music Fest. ##### Marilyn V. We’ve stayed at many different places in town over the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. The log house was clean and cosy, the beds were VERY comfortable, we had a hard time leaving. The hot tub and big deck were awesome to chill out in the afternoon. The host was amazing and very accommodating. We will 100% come back here! ##### Taylor M. This, along with the convenient location is where the “good experience” of the property ended. The house was as though the owner lives there full time but left a couple of days when we rented it. There was toothbrushes and personal items in the bathrooms around the sink and tubs. The refer full of old outdated food. Ashtrays were full of butts on deck. Trash cans full when we arrived. There was a member of group that took bath in upstairs bath and she scraped the scum and dead skin off before she felt she wanted to get in. She said bath was nice until we realized water was pouring through the floor to the bathroom just below but the leakage ended once she drained water out. Nobody said not to use the bathtub. We ran out of toilet paper in the house in first hour and none was to be found anywhere but the contact person did bring a pack promptly when it was requested which was nice. We are not difficult people to please, however we feel a little more pride should be taken by the owner in showing off this beautiful cabin to guests when renting for such a high price. I get Dawson City is what it is, but the cleanliness of what we had was quite dissapointing. :) ##### Tim D. Really loved our stay at Jeff’s place in Dawson City. The place is even bigger than we expected. The photos don’t do the place justice. Located in the perfect location to walk anywhere in town you only have to get in your car should you want to leave town. There is so many amenities from all the cooking supplies you need, towels, washer / dryer and so much more! The place hoods the temperature well it stays cool being a log home which is fantastic for hot summer days but warms up with the heaters for cool nights. Will definitely be back. If you’re considering booking Jeff’s place do it! You will have a way better experience staying here than any of the hotels in town! ##### Chris and N.
