"Our hosts Leo and Edward were very friendly and helpful. After having an early flight from Melbourne and arriving before check in time, we made our way into town to wait. Leo kindly rang as soon as the apartment was ready for us to move into. The property's location is terrific- whether riding a hire bike (as we did) or walking into town (as we did also). "Everything was very clean….managers got right back to me when I had a question. I liked that I could walk to town and enjoyed all the shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed the lovely book lounge on the corner that allowed me to sit and read in a great atmosphere. The Wild Habitat was easy to drive to and I spent the whole day there. Other tours were easy to sign up for. Loved Port Douglas and all the people I met!"

"We have stayed at this property numerous times and will continue to. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, across from the fabulous Court House Pub. Caroline could not have been more accommodating. Everything we could possibly need is provided in her apartment, including the perfect balcony with gorgeous bay views. Cannot fault "

"Wifi only barely worked on couch in suite we were given"

"This accommodation suited our needs perfectly with a separate bedroom and bathroom for the adults and children. Our children loved having the upstairs area all to themselves. Being on the 2nd level meant we had a lovely private outlook over the park next door while eating on the veranda. We were able to stay comfortably cool with the air conditioning and fans which was most appreciated especially out on the veranda. Highly recommend."

"The place felt like a home away from home. The apartment was really spacious, the kitchen was fully equipped and newly refurbished. The rooms were big and clean. The environment was very family friendly. The pool was on one side of the apartment blocks, so that there was no noise coming to our apartment. "every single little item we could have needed was there - even down to 2 bottles of water ready chilled in the fridge. The location was perfect - just off Macrossan Street. Pools small but well looked after and a 3 minute walk to swim in the ocean. Entry easy, contact with host/agent easy and they answered quickly. I can highly recommend. The best looked after rental we have had in all Australia so far!"

"Amazing spacious and newly renovated apartment with great features and well supplied. Very wet weather prevented us from taking advantage of the pool/tennis etc but the facilities were very good including free underground parking. "

"What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit "
