You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. "The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"Definitely worth it if you don’t like being right in city center or like taking a bit of a stroll. I really enjoyed walking along the lake to downtown. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff is really great. As frequent hotel guest, I’m not asking for perfection, I need the hotel to be attentive as life happens. "Amazing place, the hill is a bit of a climb but well worth the views, spent a lot of money on taxis as it’s away from a lot of transport links, may be worth hiring a car. Service is amazing, bar staff super helpful and restaurant very nice."

"The hotel was situated in the heart of como around 10 minutes walk from the lake. The reception was extremely professional, quick and efficient. The room was very clean and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was top quality with professional staff doing the catering and making coffee.
