« My wife & I stayed at Gary's place for 4 nights. It's a great set-up for us - easy parking, privacy, peaceful around the clock. The view of the lake was off-the-hook.I read a review about a hectic 4th of July party, but that has to be way out of the ordinary. We did meet Gary once as we were leaving - he's easy going and super nice. The main space of the apartment is clean, comfortable and had some nice retro features - which we enjoy. Thanks for a great stay, Gary!!! »

« I would suggest a silverware container for the spatulas and odds and ends. They are all thrown together in a drawer and give you the sense they are not cleaned.Also, a lower shelf to reach the dishes would be helpful. I am 5'5 and could not reach them. My husband had to help with them all. »

« This accommodation was a large heritage home made into nice sized apartments. This apartment had a nice sized kitchen with all amenities. Coffee and treats were left for us . The bedroom was simple but the bed was very comfortable. A white noise machine was in the bedroom if needed. We spent a few evenings watching a movie and felt very safe. Parking was provided for us in the back of building. Highly recommend the beautiful Japanese garden and Shores Acre!! Then we went to Newport and watched...

« This is an older property that has been chopped up into various apartments. Layout is a little crazy in that you enter from the rear into a bedroom. The two bedrooms adjoin and one can only be entered by going through the bathroom or the other bedroom.
