We are across from the lake, not on the lake; check out our view! We are 2.5 miles from Glimmerglass Opera; 5 miles from the center of Cooperstown with baseball hall of fame, dining, & golfing! Public beach access is 2.5 miles to 3 Mile Point, where you can swim and fish. We are 10.5 miles to Dreams Park!
The space
This is a lake house, with 2 apartments in it. The ad is for the 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom upstairs apartment, with double sliding glass doors facing Otsego Lake! The views are incredible! Message for whole house rental which sleeps 11. Upstairs and downstairs are already connected for whole house rental; locked out for two rentals. Downstairs has a 1 bedroom efficiency/in-law suite apartment with mini kitchen, full deck with porch swing, facing the lake. Upstairs is 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and sleeps 6 with two on the pull out couch. This ad is for the 2 bedroom unit. If you want the whole house, message host.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the apartment upstairs with the 2 bedrooms. Guests can enter and exit through their own entrance of these living quarters on the deck. There are two exits through the 2 sliding glass doors onto a large deck, with gas grill, overlooking Otsego Lake. You can eat outside, facing the water or inside. There is a brand new whole house generator, so the power will never go out at this house!
Other things to note
This house is new to AirBnb. It’s called “Lion View” in honor of the “sleeping Lion” mountain across the lake from our 2 decks! It has all new furnishings, new linens and quilts, new dishes and silverware purchased deliberately with themed colors to create a relaxing, lake environment showcasing the view of Otsego Lake. There is a ramp to walk right to the door from the newly constructed private parking area.
