"There is a reason this place has received nothing but perfect ratings! My partner and I stayed for two nights in February (14, 15th), over a long weekend. The place is spectacular for a quiet getaway. It's hard to beat watching marine wildlife from a hot tub--we saw seals, sea lions, harbor porpoises, and possibly even a sea otter (it was too dark to tell at that time). If you're there shortly after Feb. 15, we also left some coffee grounds (there were none when we arrived, so might be good to...

Danny welcomed us shortly after we arrived and made sure we knew where to find everything, and had helpful local recommendations. "We went after one of the worst storms in recent years. Host was great, making sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our time. I think it's fair to say that anyone anytime will enjoy staying here. In the winter, you can hunker down there and enjoy peace and quiet by the ocean. Bus heats up very quickly. Shower works great. The design can accommodate 3 adults and a toddler. We'd love to stay here in the summer next time and for longer. "

"Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"

"The perfect place for us and our pooch! The place had everything we needed and then some. It is welcoming and comfortable - my only complaint is we could not stay longer! It's close to everything, yet quite private and quiet. The outdoor space and hot tub are wonderful. If you enjoy cooking, this place has everything you need, including a fresh herb garden! Highly recommend. "
