« The Getaway in DHS is a real gem. It’s four apartments constructed around a lovely walled courtyard. The location is in the foothills out of the way but really close to everything. We loved the decor. The comfy king bed was good for watching Netflix and sleeping. Eric, the host is great a genuinely concerned, available owner. We will definitely stay here on a future visit »

« We loved our stay here for one week! Excellent (quiet) location and lots of fun playing bean bag toss. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. We were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves for the most part. Would have been a different experience if others were also renting the other 2 places. We decided it would be great to rent all 3 spots for a family vacation. Would have liked to have the sliding gate to the property be lockable. Other than that - everything was really great....

« Property was adorable…just perfect for what we needed…place to stay after our concert! Cary was EXTREMELY good at communicating with us and made sure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. « We had a wonderful weekend away here. The property is beautifully landscaped, large, and very private and quiet. The hot tub was a highlight in addition to the amazing night skies. The north entrance to Joshua Tree is less than 10mins away and the area immediately surrounding the home is very walkable with restaurants, coffee, and museums all nearby. Definitely would come back! »

« My family and I spent Thanksgiving here and had a good time. The host was really communicative and there were enough kitchen supplies for us to do our cooking as well as grill! The hot tub and fire pit were also really nice. For improvements, I think the lighting in the place could be a bit warmer to give an extra cozy vibe, and the dining table larger considering the size of the place. It's a bit too chilly to eat outside during colder months. During summer it would be really nice though....
