The resort is marketed like an upgraded stay and maybe it once was but the place gave off a very dated vibe. Overall the staff is super friendly and helpful but we didn't feel like we were staying at a resort. The carpets are all worn down, broken tiles on the floor right when you walk in the main lobby and the whole place is due for a face lift to charge the rates they are demanding. The elevators smelled very musty (poor ventilation?) and felt very old and clunky. In our room the toilet seat had chunks missing in it that the they painted white instead of just replacing the seat with a new one. Its a cheap fix but makes a huge difference. There were several hairs (not ours) in the sink and shower that grossed us out, making us question how well the room was actually cleaned. The bed was comfortable enough. Our breakfast was included as part of a VIP room we booked and the food was fairly good. The omelet station was excellent and again the staff at the restaurant were on their game.
Overall the stay was fine but I guess my expectations were higher going into it thinking this would be a higher class establishment. At one time I'm sure this place was but it just needs some TLC to bring it back to that type of level.
