« Overall we had a great stay, we enjoyed the trails that are right on the doorstep for hiking. When we arrived the house was freezing, it took a little to heat it up as it is such a big home. When it was warm it was so cosy and nice. The house was perfect for our large gathering, and it was clean and very well appointed. We had some issues with doors sticking and even a couple of our guests getting locked into their rooms. The master ensuite had no hot water despite running the water for 10 mins...

« My partner and I visited with some friends for a nice weekend get away. The house and grounds are very nice, and even though it was quite snowy we were warm and comfortable in the house with the fireplace going.The view of the river and the gazebo are great, but it was a little too cold for that so we enjoyed the sauna instead.Billy is a great host, made sure to stock us up with firewood for the weekend, and was overall great to deal with.Everyone agreed we would go back again when it's warm...

« The view is breathtaking! If wildlife is what you're after this is the place. Everything from the resident squirrel, hummingbirds, kingfishers, gulls working on swallowing starfish (no easy feat), eagles, lots of different marine birds, seals, river otter, sea lions galore catching dinner right out front, porpoise and a small pod of orca, however, the house does need some TLC. »

« It is difficult to express how pleasurable our experience was a Stephen's property. He was eminently welcoming, kind, thoughtful and accommodating. The home is even better in person than what the photographs portray. The view overlooking Otter Bay ferry terminal is wonderful.
