« The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

« Overall we were really happy with our stay! Clean interior, quiet neighborhood and all the essentials were provided. Wegmans grocery store is very close as well as plenty of local restaurants. The host was incredibly responsive which I really appreciated! Just an FYI: there is no direct lake view from the property other than between the houses across the street but it's easily within walking distance. This was a perfect property for a quiet, relaxing get away. »

« My family and I booked this trip last minute because we decided it was the perfect time to learn how to ski :-) the hostess was absolutely lovely from the time we booked the trip until we left. She was so responsive! This is a rustic 1900s home but it's in very good condition! It's like you are taking a step back in time and it was really awesome to appreciate the history and the Beautiful surroundings. It was so wonderful having lake views, you could roll over open the blinds and watch people...

« This rental exceeded our expectations. The location was great, close enough to canoe to the lake. The host goes out of their way for renters to have a great experience providing basic needs that others almost never provide.
