We're Introducing "This is Us" as the newest vacation rental in the University area. This property was designed with you and your family in mind. We sought to provide what we look for when traveling away from home. It is as a clean, peaceful, relaxing, retreat-styled, get-away. However, it is equipped with everything needed for jam-packed family fun during your stay. Each bedroom has its own entertainment system: 1) Our 1st-class "Director's Suite" features a Cali-King bed and sitting areas; 2) The classic "Front & Center" room provides a comfortable, private sleeping quarter; while 3) The "Spotlight" room receives natural sunlight while providing spacious double-decker quality for four. The "Great Expectations" area promotes family time and activities with a "Back Stage" view of Carolina natural landscapes and furry, feathered friends. The equipped Galley promotes gatherings of 4-10 guests in one setting. An added perk is found in the tempered "Entertainment Tonight" space where active & quiet play for children and adults frequently occurs. We're minutes from UNCC's '49er statue, Charlotte Motor Speedway, PNC Music Pavilion, Concord Mills, and the Queen City's downtown night life and the Charlotte Convention Center. Great for Families
The house was stocked with everything we needed and was centrally located to everything! Comfortable beds, super clean, and the kids loved the game room. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely stay again.

Softball Tournament
We were in town for a nearby softball tournament. We enjoyed our stay. The property was well maintained and the amenities were a nice touch. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the large connect four game. We had plenty of room for seven guests to spread out. The host was responsive and the check-in/out process was very smooth. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Charlotte area.

Cozy and Clean for a Family Getaway
This was a wonderful property that made for a great stay for our family of 4. Close to everything in the Charlotte area but also set back into a nice quiet neighborhood. Our host Lisa made sure everything was ready to go for us and was responsive during the check in process. The house is clean, nicely furnished, and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again!

Great option!
The property was as described and a great place to stay. Lisa, the owner, was easy to communicate with and answered questions quickly. We were thrilled there was an alarm system (although we forgot to use it, LOL!) and enjoyed the private back yard. You won’t regret staying here!

This was a super nice place to stay. Pretty much in the middle of everything to do around the Charlotte area. Comfortable furniture, great bed, and the game room in the garage was cool. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Stay here for Coco Cola 600. Good location to downtown and Charlotte motor speedway. Nice neighborhood, safe location, good location to restaurants and stores. House is cozy. My kids loved the ping pong table in the game room.

Everything was good except the beds
Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep at all and my trip was greatly impacted by this. I strongly recommend to the owner to get better mattresses and bedding. It was literally the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on, hard, no cushion, no springs. The pillows felt like a bag of socks. The house was cold and the heater wouldn’t turn on and there no extra blankets. Everything else was awesome, great space, great kitchen, location worked for us. Seriously, upgrade your beds and you can get a 5 star review each time!

There’s a joke in my family that nothing is ever Carol clean. Well this property was. The property was comfortable and within 30 minutes of our destination. It did lack a master bedroom dresser, so it was inconvenient to keep our clothes in our suitcases. The owner said she is considering adding one. The kitchen has the essentials. The pool table was nice. I did like the alarm system. We would have felt safe in the area with or without the alarm. You won’t be disappointed in this home away from home.

Really enjoyed our stay at this house near UNC Charlotte. Had a private fenced back yard , and a cool pool/game room in the garage. Also had complementary Keurig coffee there, very nice touch. . Def recommended!

Great Stay!
Stayed here for a bachelor party and we had a blast! We enjoyed the garage space with the pool table and which is not pictured but It was the perfect space for us to hang out and relax. The neighborhood was nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this property for a stay.
