« Hands down one of our favorite family summer vacations. The cottage itself was stocked well and provided a comfortable spot for cooking, sleeping, and out of the sun activities (board games, cards, puzzles, pool, and ping pong). « Such a beautiful place in the redwoods. The road getting there is definitely unevenly paved with big dips - don’t rec low clearance cars. We have a big truck and it was fine. You just have to park in an angle to make it work. The other car was a sedan and again if you park in an angle it will be fine. Loved the hot tub in the redwoods and the big screen for movies. « The place was very relaxing. Hot tub was beautifully located under the redwoods near the creek. Linens were exceptionally scented with hormonal disruptive scented laundry detergent. Bring your own wood for the fireplace, as none is provided. BBQ grill is broken and won’t ignite. Otherwise, the place is very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and very spacious outdoor area. »

« Property was beautiful. We totally enjoyed our stay. We actually extended it a night because we were so pleased with the place. The only down side is the one bathroom with access only thru the master suite (which wasn't and issue for us but would be if there were 2 adult couples). »

« Our stay was absolutely perfect. The house is situated in a prime location, close to the river and nestled among tall trees. We were thrilled to find everything impeccably clean and welcoming. Lexi, the owner, reached out to check on us and had thoughtfully prepared a guest book filled with great suggestions for dining and activities in the area. « The property was clean, wifi reliable, and well supplied. I would note that the driveway past the gate is note an easy drive for low cars which do not have AWD/4WD but there is room in front of the gate for 1-2 vehicles. »
