We were lucky enough to get a snow storm the first night, and it was so amazing to be able to look out and see the beauty of everything blanketed in snow while we enjoyed the cozy and warm inside! « Certainly not for everyone, but if you’re up for a unique stay with a rustic feel, Stone Cottage is great. The house was well appointed (even spices, coffee filters etc), clean and oozed authenticity of the old West. The farm animals, especially Calamity Jane, were a huge plus, and it was fun to help feed them and hear about the history of the homestead. Super quiet, waking up to the call of the roosters. The owner, Joe, could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Communication was great...
