The Most Relaxing Get Away
We came back, even if just for one night, we needed a getaway to this most relaxing location. Its peaceful, beautiful and so inviting. Next time we will stay much longer!! This Host goes above and beyond to make your stay incredible!!!

Country Living Getaway
This is one of the best VRBO's we have experienced. Cottage was so quaint and beautifully decorated. Very clean with everything you would need for your stay. Amazing stay!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a beautiful cottage and the attention to detail was fantastic! The views, grass paths, sunsets, flowers, and pond were so calming and relaxing. The hosts really thought of everything and they were so accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the birds
The owners have created a beautiful place to unwind. We particularly enjoyed the constant hummingbird activity on the front and back porches and feeding the fish in the pond. We highly recommend. If you enjoy antiquing there are many, many interesting places in the area and Powell Gardens is a short drive away. If you desperately need to be connected this is not the place - no wifi and limited cell phone coverage, but it is a great place to unwind and relax.

The place was so so cute. My wife and I loved the the scenery and all the fun things to look at. They even had it all decorated for Christmas! I would definitely recommend any friends and family to stay here.

Getaway
My wife and I rented this cottage for a quick one night get away, it was great. Open spaces, nice pond, mowed paths in the back and crossing creek beds. Firewood was provided as well as fresh muffins and coffee. The hosts were great and the property is dog friendly which was a big plus for us. 5/5 would reccommend.

Cuddly cottage
The cottage is better than described. The management were perfect and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Because We had cold and rainy weather we were offered to stay another night free of charge. Perfect getaway to get away from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be coming back in the spring.

Amazing space, amazing place
The hosts were truly amazing. We never had any feeling like we were distrubing anyone and had the feeling like we were staying over at our close friend's home. If you've ever wondered what living in the countryside was like, this would be the perfect get away for your occasion. The wildlife was great to see, and the stars and sunsets were some of the best parts. If your on the fence take the leap and go. Your 15-20 min from a larger city in case you forgot something or needed something. Amazing place, would highly recommend, and definitely stay again.

Cutest cottage ever! The pictures do NOT do this beautiful property justice and the owners were so accommodating! Lemon & pumpkin pound cake and all the fixings for s'mores waiting for us. Furnished impeccably and the bed was heavenly.... cannot say enough good things about our stay...will definitely be back!

The perfect hidden gem
This cottage is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Our hosts do it right. The decor and furnishings are full of country cottage charm and they have thought of everything from the personal amenities to the home baked goodies. They even provide fish food to feed the fish in the pond that is located right out the front door. I can promise, we plan on coming back!

Very relaxing, just what we needed!
We took a little weekend vacation to celebrate our first wedding anniversary- this cottage was just what we needed! It was nice to take some time away from our busy lives and we enjoyed spending it in nature, reading, birdwatching, feeding the fish in the pond, cooking meals in and playing games. Our hosts were wonderful, very easy to get ahold of and willing to help us out when needed. They even left us some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! It seemed like everything was well thought out and we wanted for nothing while there. Great experience, 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing and private environment. Also- the decor was amazing, the place felt like something straight out of a movie or book! I might have ordered some similar items for our own home… 😄 thanks for the great stay!

Why did I have to leave this wonderful place?!
It was a serendipity I found this place. The Little White Cottage was absolutely perfect. When you arrive , its like you are in a movie scene... opening the door, is unbelievable! So welcoming and put together just right! I had a few days alone before my husband was able to join. So, I got to hangout, sleep,walk, relax, and enjoy everything around the property that is so beautiful. The sounds are even phenomenal. If you need a break away this is your place. You can run into town for supplies and have all your meals right at the cottage. If you love wildlife at all, this is your place. I promise you won't want to leave.

Christmas in a Hallmark Movie
My Lady and I couldn't have picked a better spot for our Holiday getaway from the bustle of humans and madness lol. Everything we needed was there and it was so ending that we probably just mozied around for the first hour v just telling eachother how perfect everything was. Plenty of places to walk, picturesque water out front, and everything worked perfect. We WILL be back... So don't hog all the dates 😊

Coziest Cottage
What a perfect little cottage! Nestled on the side of the forest with hiking trails and a stocked pond on the opposite side, surrounded by the most beautiful flowers. Nights are spectacular watching the sun set above the pond with a beautiful reflection that only increases your view. The extra special added touches your host leaves you inside just top off the welcoming as you enter. We could not have asked for a more perfect getaway and hope to return soon! Thank you again for EVERYTHING!! We appreciate your above and beyond attention to details.

Absolute Perfection
This cottage is perfection. I travel for a living, and I'm so happy I booked this little piece of paradise. I stayed for two weeks, and when I left earlier today I was so so sad to go. The pictures are good, but the real thing is better. The cottage looks like it's straight out of a magazine. The flowers are all in full bloom and gorgeous. The light streams in through the windows at sunset in a golden hue that influencers would kill to recreate. The interior is clean, smells amazing, and so comfy and cute. The bed is lush and soft and you just sink right on in. I sat on the back porch for a long while during the days, and its perfect for reading a book. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need for cooking, and the closest town is an easy 15 minute drive. There is no wifi, which is something to be considered if you have to get work done. But the cell service was perfectly fine. The owners are the sweetest humans ever, and had muffins ready for me when I got there, and even had cat treats for Pip. Feeding the fish in the lake became my favorite daily hobby, and there is an adorable turtle in the lake too. So it became a daily challenge to get some of the food to the turtle while the fish were all going for them. I truly cannot say enough great things about this place. If you're looking to get away for a time, and want somewhere quiet that isn't too in the middle of nowhere. This is it. Enjoy this place. Love it as much as I did. Hopefully I'll get back soon.

Amazing
This property was spectacular and exactly what we were looking for. So close to KC. Perfect quick get away without a long travel time. Our house had everything that we needed including games and puzzles. They also have a pond that is stocked with a snapping turtle, catfish, and Koi. They have food that you can feed them twice a day which was lovely. Pond is so close to the house that it seemed a part of the home. There was a fire pit and comfortable chairs out front. And a great deck off the back. The home had mowed paths thru the woods that you could walk along and explore the trees and landscape. It was sooo comfortable and interior design was on point for cottage style and location. Very easy to locate and near nostalgic town of Holden that we could get an old school lunch at a drive in diner. Strates drive in’s Tenderloin and fries were awesome! The home was amazingly comfortable! The owner has a wonderful green thumb. Flowers and plantings were absolutely gorgeous!!! We loved our stay they and will be back. It think this place would be great to visit spring, summer, fall or winter. They also have a paddle boat for yachting on the pond! Truly a great experience! We loved it!

Little Slice of Heaven
