« We had a smooth early check-in. Property manager was great about meeting us in the middle of the night to check in. We had a lot of privacy and space in the house. You didn't feel on top of neighbors. The walk to the beach was super short and easy. The extra kitchen space came in handy for cleaning fish and storing them in a separate fridge. There really is only one shower but it worked fine for us. Very layed back vacation and very enjoyable 🌞 »

« This year we flew into Atlanta to visit my son and daughter-in-law and then we all headed out to St. George Island. We had recommendations from someone who stayed in Appalachicola but once we saw barrier island we had to try it. The community is fabulous; all the stores, restaurants you need but no huge development. Beach Bum Cottages were small but comfortable and well-equipped.
