« We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway. We saw that there was no internet or t.v. either. This worked well for our needs. Nice walk down to the river and a campfire pit just for us. Have already recommended this location to our friends. »

« Wonderful location! Wouldve been nice to know there wasnt any elecriticy before I arrived or i wouldve brought a generator. But other then that, LOVED this place, quiet, calm, right by the river! Will be back next year but want to book the A-frame cabin instead, just to have that extra privacy, shade and most importantly being that much closer to the river/creek for my pretty girl Poppy, who just loves to swim! She even made a friend in Viks dog Molly while we were there! They went swimming...

« We had an amazing time here and would definitely love to come back again! The photos did not do it justice; it was more spacious than we expected. A few things we wish we knew before coming to stay: -the property is bordered by some sweet donkeys and horses that added unexpected joy to our weekend! we were also regularly visited by some farm cats -the cabin is part of a wedding venue so there was work being done on the property while we were there -be sure to ask the host for directions...

« Perfect relaxing getaway, close enough to the city for a quick weekender away. Pet friendly , cabin was perfect for glamping, has everything you’d need and more. They thought of everything. Removed from excessive noise if needed. »

« We were recommended this place by a local relative as we were attending a funeral at the hall just 5 minutes away down the road. Turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Only knock is that breakfast wasn’t available in the restaurant as it opens at 11 AM. There was also an issue with Expedia and the motel management regarding double bookings as some of our relatives thought they had reservations only to find out they didn’t and had to make last minute alternate arrangements. »

« Could have been a bit cleaner. There was some hair on the bed linens. We used our sleeping bags so it was okay. Was chilly at night as we could not get the stove to work for us (that was us not knowing how to use and getting back late to get help). The hosts were accommodating with requests. Bathrooms could be cleaner as well. Didn't seem to be able to get got water to wash our hands with, did not try showers. The firepit is located in an awkward place behind the dome which did not make it user...

« The staff was excellent. They were there to meet us very late in the evening when we checked in. Wish it wasn’t quite so isolated from neighbouring towns and hiking trails, but it made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Safari dome was clean and well-kept. Lovely time! »
