Classic beach cottage w private beach boardwalk!

"Surf's Edge" is the perfect place for you if you are looking for a classic old style beach cottage. This property features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, where each bedroom has two Full beds. The living room, dining area, and kitchen have an open floor plan that allow the family to be together while you are making that favorite meal. Each bedroom features two Full beds and the full bathroom is shared.

"Surf's Edge" has a unique charm with the original knotty pine walls and cozy furnishings. There is a large oceanfront deck that leads to the private beach access that hosts an outside shower to wash the salt and sand away. The laundry room with a washer and dryer are located in the storage room under the main living area in the carport.

While visiting Carolina Beach during the summer, make sure to visit the Boardwalk, it has fun for all ages, or take in a movie at the lake on Sunday evenings and no one should go home without trying Britt's Donuts, it's located on the Boardwalk. The NC Aquarium at nearby Kure Beach is open all year, the kids especially enjoy the touching pond.

This was our third summer at Surf's Edge and we're already looking ahead to next year! Perfect house for our family of 5. No fuss, no hassel, no worrying about parking, just walk out the back door and BOOM you're on the sand!

Great Location
The home is in a great location. Very clean floors kitchen and bath. Our only complaint is the furniture is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced before anyone stays there again. The beds are sinking in and creky. The two lovesets in the living room were grimy and lummpy. The home with the current furniture as is not suitable for families or adults over 22. It’s perfect for a frat party.

Our family has stayed at Surf's Edge twice now an we love it! It's perfect. Quick access to the water. Quick access to the boardwalk. Great views. We ❤️ this house!

Great location, but ….
The location is great but the house leaves a lot to be desired. Pros: super close to the boardwalk and restaurants, great parking, excellent fireworks views (Thursday nights), a nice deck, and great if you have a dog. Cons: The dishwasher did not work consistently, there were several burnt out lights, and the rubber coverings on the mattresses made a squeaky sound whenever the sleeper moved. The kitchen is under supplied; we wound up buying more forks and plates that we left there for future users.

Great locatiom
Had a small dog with us and the closed deck gave him some room. The beach was just seconds away with a private boardwalk. Everything in working order. Gas grill had full tank of propane. Great for a couple who appreciate vintage beach cottage. Boardwalk is just a block away. Carolina Beach State Park less than 10 minute drive where we rented a pontoon and explored Cape Fear River and hiked some trails..

Just because the house is old, doesn't mean you can't update inside. Furniture old and uncomfortable. Beds old and horrible condition. Appliances old. There were roaches. The wall in one bedroom was covered with dust and had been like that for quite some time. A rental company sends you a list of chores with threats to charge you more if you don't complete... yet our dishwasher was full on arrival from previous stay. Back porch latch gate falling off. Pros- close to boardwalk. Beach is wonderful.

What a Great Stay!
What an awesome time! Our stay couldn't have been better. The house was excellently cleaned, and was exactly as it appears in the property listing. The location was perfect...oceanfront with a private walkway to the beach, with private parking, right at the southern end of the boardwalk! Everything we wanted, food, ice cream, gift shops, live music, and the ocean was just a short walk away. The house is small compared to neighboring properties, but was perfect for my wife and I, and it could easily sleep 8 people with no problem. The large ocean-facing back deck is wonderful. You can sit with your morning coffee and privately watch the sun rise, and then in the afternoon the sun sets on the other side of the house, creating a shady, cool place to cook out on the provided grill, or just relax in the shade and enjoy the sou ds of the ocean! We definitely recommend this property, and will be staying again! 5 stars!

Loved the beach location!
It was all about the beach location. Beautiful spot although a very busy part of the beach. I personally loved the old style that reminded me of vacation cabins of my youth in Michigan. It was clean but could use some upgrades, including a new microwave and mattresses. If it was mine I would spruce it up and make it really something special. My only real complaint was that the air conditioning units next door were very loud and drowned out the sound of the waves. Not sure what the owners can do about that if anything. I would rent it again but only in the off season when it's less busy and it's too cool for air conditioning!!

Beach Front Sunrise
This property is truly a hidden oasis. Tastefully decorated and the management provided every amenity that anyone could possiblly desire for a fun beach vacation. My husband and I sat on the beautiful deck that was nestled in the dunes each morning for coffee while watching the sun rise. It was pristine watching the wildlife forage among the dune grasses and the pelicans and other assorted birds flying by. The full kitchen was perfect for the nights we wanted to eat in and every accessory to cook an elaborate meal was included. There were four full beds that were very comfortable and plenty of storage for clothing. The private path to the beach was the ultimate luxury and we enjoyed extremely warm weather for the month of March. The location itself was right in the middle of all entertainment, restaurants and activities, yet secluded in the dunes to add an enriched level of privacy. Our dogs luxuriated in their morning walks right out to the beach! The management at Bryant Real Estate certainly knows how to roll out the red carpet for anyone lucky enough to stay in this beautiful, impeccable beach-front cabin!

Rest and relaxation at Carolina Beach
The old style was overlooked by the awesome Atlantic Ocean just steps from the back deck. Unit was very clean. Anything one needed in the kitchen was there. Had a small issue with getting one of the TV's to work and one bedroom had lumpy beds, so we chose the room with nicer beds. Great place, great stay, great experience.

Our doggo's first beach trip
We changed reservations to get this place, so that we could bring our new pup. We were not disappointed! It's an old-style, small beach house with all the character we were looking for. Great view and location: close to the boardwalk, but still feels "tucked away." The grill needs replacing, but that was a small deal to us. Loved it!!
