The Space:
This centrally located 116 sqm (1250 sq. ft. ) 3 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment is the perfect beachside getaway, boasting new, modern finishes and just 200m from Fish Hoek Beach. As you step inside, you'll immediately appreciate the sleek and modern design of the space, with clean lines and neutral tones throughout. This apartment is perfectly suited for families, couples and digital nomads / those who work from home.
The open-plan living area is flooded with natural light, thanks to the large stacking doors and windows that stretch across the room. The comfortable lounge area features a plush couch & armchair, perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. The dining area is adjacent, with a stylish table and chairs that can comfortably seat four people. We have also recently added an awesome selection of board games: perfect for those chilly evenings in. There is also an oil heater which can be wheeled around as needed.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils you'll need to whip up a delicious meal, including a stove, oven and fridge. There's plenty of cupboard space for all your groceries, and the sleek countertops provide ample workspace for meal prep. The apartment is also fitted with a washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience.
The 3 bedrooms are both beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and soft 100% cotton bedding to ensure a good night's sleep. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed, while the second bedroom features two twin beds, and the 3rd bunk beds (perfect for kids) making it ideal for families or friends traveling together. the primary and secondary bedrooms have ample cupboard space for storing your belongings. The 3rd bedroom has an office desk and chair for those who need to get some work done.
All the stacking doors and windows are true double glazed so you can enjoy the benefit of being centrally located, without the noise travelling into the apartment.
The bathroom is modern and spacious, with a rain shower, toilet, and sink, as well as plenty of space for your toiletries. There is also a guest toilet.
A full back up energy supply (5kVa inverter with Li-ion battery) has been installed ensuring that you are not affected by loadshedding. The only appliances that will not work on the system (due to the high usage nature of the appliances) are the washing machine, dishwasher, stove/oven and geyser. Lights and plug points are ON!
Finally, this apartment is located just 150m from Fish Hoek beach, making it the perfect location for beach lovers. It's also very central to surfing hot spots like Muizenberg and Kommetjie or Noordhoek. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, so you'll never be far from everything you need.
For those that have a small to medium vehicle: you are able to park inside the secured parking space but please note the space is tight. Once you have the key, drive into the driveway towards the back and then park in front of the 2 garages that are to the far left as you look at them. (see checkin details for clarity!) Please note that you will be required to climb stairs to get to the apartment.

The Neighborhood:
Fish Hoek is a charming coastal town located on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. Known for its picturesque beaches, scenic mountains, and tranquil atmosphere, Fish Hoek offers visitors a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The town is also home to a variety of local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike.
Getting Around:
This apartment is very centrally located. You are within walking distance to grocery stores, cafes, restaurants and much more. Uber does operate in the area for longer distance trips. Should you want to do sight seeing to places like Cape Point, you would need to hire a car. There is a company unique to the South peninsula called Hakuna Matuktuk (see social media for more information) who do trips from Muizenberg to Cape Point. They also offer tours. A great addition to our town and a must for your itinerary. There are strict no drinking and driving laws and it would be advisable to arrange transport if you are planning on going out. We have a list of local companies that can assist in our Welcome Booklet.
Other Things to Note:

South Africa is currently experiencing rolling power cuts from anywhere between 2 - 4 hours. We have installed a 5kVa solar powered inverter and battery system that assists with keeping the lights & essentials on. The washing machine, dishwasher, stove/oven and geyser will be affected during these power cuts. We would suggest that you download an app called "Eskomsepush" and load up Zone 8, Fish Hoek so that you can stay up to date with the schedule.
For long stay guests of 7 or more days: we do provide a complimentary linen/towel change. We are able to arrange an in-stay clean. This can be arranged prior to check in. Costs will be communicated should this be required.
We do provide you with the basic amenities but due to the nature of the self-catering apartment, these will not be replenished if they are depleted during your stay.
