"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . "We stayed in this beautiful house last week. It felt as if staying with friends or family, Eithne was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The house is so well equipped and the owners had left dishwasher tabs, surface spray, tin foil etc this was so helpful. Thank you. The house is clean and comfortable, electricity & fuel use is paid at the end of the holiday, which I thought was a very good idea in these times when we should be conserving energy. "Very spacious house with wonderful views. Comfortable and under floor heating meant always right temperature. Liking a log fire, this never needed. Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. "If you are looking for a rustic experience with a coastal million dollar view this is the place for you. Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. Martin was a friendly host and you even get to feed the chickens near the property."

"Kathleen was the perfect host and her holiday home was honestly incredible. So much space and light with beautiful views from every window. Kathleen was so accommodating when we had to add an extra guest to the party and came over to talk us through everything. The location is brilliant for exploring the Skelligs and this beautiful part of the Kerry ring All in all, it was all just standout brilliant and my only regret is that we weren't staying another week!"

"This property was perfect for our family. It was just a 2 min walk from shops, restaurants, and pubs, and located at the end of a culdasack, so it was very quiet. The house was very clean and spacious, and well fitted. Everyone in town were amazingly kind and friendly. We had an amazing time in Sneem and hiking the nearby mountains, conquering Carrountoonhil!!"

"We travelled to Castletownbere from our home in Dorset to meet up with an old friend - we are pushing 80 so most of our friends are old! We hired a car at Dublin Airport and travelled to this delightful town in SW Ireland. It is a fishing port and the smaller trawlers mostly fish locally while the large ones fish further out in the Atlantic - brave men indeed. "We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window. We all took turns sitting in the comfy chairs reading a book or just taking in the scenery of sheep and ocean. Thank you for a great stay in the Ring of Kerry!"
