This lower level round cottage features an amazing panoramic view of the ocean. When renting Shore Break, you have access to a bright and open, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living area with plush sofas, and views of the ocean. The villa accommodates up to 6 vacationers with a master suite with a king bed and full bath, and a second bedroom with two full beds and a full house bath in the hall. Offering all the basics to get you started on your vacation, such as toilet paper and paper towels, we're certain you'll be happy upon arrival. With access to a resort pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, unlimited beach access, private parking, and outside hot/cold showers make this the perfect choice for a relaxing vacation. We had a wonderful week in Buxton. The cottage is right on the ocean. We saw dolphins everyday. We would definitely stay here again.

Buxton Birthday!
We loved this little ocean-front cottage. It was the perfect stay for a small group, and you couldn't beat those views. We felt like we were sitting on top of the ocean. Buxton is one of my favorite places, and will definitely stay here again!

Excellent location! Check in and check out was very easy. They even allowed us to check in a hour and a half early since the unit was ready to go. That was greatly appreciated after that long drive. The only downfall, and it was by no means a deal breaker was the unit has lots of windows with spectacular views but the screens and windows was very dirty. I fully understand that in that environment, they would be hard to keep spotless but it would have been nice to start the week with a clean view. Defiantly wouldn't stop me from going back though!

Wonderful!!
Our overall experience was great. The property was just as advertised. The location was absolutely perfect, mere steps from the water. Loved the entire community. We had 2 teenage girls and they rode bikes all over the area and felt completely safe. We stayed in the lower unit and the only problem we had was sand falling down from the upper deck. I’m not sure there is a fix for this, so just be aware. Loved every minute and would definitely stay again and will recommend it to others!!!!!

Wow! Nice Place
This place is great. Literally steps from the beach. Beautiful view of sunrise and we saw a super-moon rise. Saw bunches of dolphins about 75 yards offshore. Lot of surfers and fishermen. You can walk to Hatteras Lighthouse via the beach but better done at low tide. We were in the lower unit which was fine.

This property was exactly as advertised! We loved it! It was clean, and you can’t beat the view! We had one issue with the television and it was resolved quickly. Next time I will plan on cooking as restaurant options are sparse.

Beautiful place for a week away
We rented the bottom unit and it was a great experience. My husband and i made a lot of use out the chairs on that deck for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. During these crazy times it was also nice to not have to be right on the beach to enjoy watching the waves. We took walks along the beach but were able to keep our "social distance" by sitting on the deck. The unit itself was very nice - you can tell it was recently remodeled and looks exactly as it did in the pictures. The kitchen had plates, cookware, etc. If you're an avid coffee drinker like us bring coffee filters and next time we stay here i'll bring my own pillow. The staff was very helpful anytime we had a question.
