« Had 3 lovely days at Brooksyde. A very comfortable house, a home form home seaside retreat. A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise. « We spent a family Christmas here and weren’t disappointed. The property itself is large enough for 9-10 people comfortably, with lots of space. The village is wonderful, very quaint, with some superb country walks, but not too far from Dorchester or Yeovil.The only issues we had were with some of the mattresses in some rooms being too soft, but that’s down to personal preference.Overall, would highly recommend. »

« Our entire family stayed here to celebrate a special birthday. We were very pleased with the farmhouse and the amount of space. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped. Only reason we gave a 4 for cleanliness is because it was a little dusty (But expected due to it being a farmhouse!) Would recommend to all. »

« We stayed over NYE the house was absolutely beautiful. Home from home, rustic and tastefully decorated keeping the charm of the property. « The location, the house, wow this was absolutely faultless. 7 adults, 1 teenager and 2 two dogs for 3 nights at new year and it was everything we hoped for. Spectacular views and perfect for the storm as we hunkered down and had a fire in the comfortable lounge playing games. We all found the beds extremely comfortable and each bathroom was spacious and very clean. The whole place, just incredible! »

« Perfect venue for a cosy week catching up with friends, we had been looking for somewhere large enough for all 10 of us to get together, play board games and have a film night! This was perfect! The dining table accomodated us all, as did the sofa! We also did all our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equiped, (far more so than some professional kitchens weve used!)
