Beautiful Honeymoon Cottage close to Manchester Vermont. {Manchester Center}

Located 6 miles from Manchester Center. Minutes from Bromley and Magic Mountain Ski Centers and within 25 minutes from Stratton and Okemo. Killington and Mount Snow are within a one hour drive. This beautiful hand crafted vacation home overlooks a private trout pond and also sits in the middle of a Bird Sanctuary.

One bedroom hand-hewn barn nestled on brook, overlooking pond. Gourmet kitchen with Blue Star stove & greenhouse window. Free-form deck. Downstairs master bedroom has a Jacuzzi bath & for 2. This is two story cottage with small winding staircase to access downstairs bedroom. Sits on scenic 6 acre pond and provides breathtaking views. Appalachian and Long trail hiking to the top of scenic Bromley mountain accessible right from property. Well behaved pets are welcome but as per house rules we ask they pets are kept off furniture and beds and we do require a $75 pet fee per pet due to multiple issues with dog hair on beds and furniture. When you book you can check the box to add pets and pet fee. No cats are allowed.

Note: Although very rare due to unforeseen circumstances the pond may be partially drained for dam repair. Also, we take guests privacy very serious and we do not have any inside surveillance or televisions with front facing cameras. Swimming in the pond is not recommended because it is a wildlife pond and has Leaches and Beaver from time to time. Fishing is permitted but you may want to purchase a Vermont state fishing license.

Magical location, wonderful get away
We had an amazing weekend getaway. Brad and Ester’s cottage was so charming. Nestled on the edge of a beautiful lake and several hiking trails, it was a much needed escape. The night sky sparkled with stars and the days were filled with every comfort we could have needed.

Perfect birthday weekend!
We wanted a getaway weekend in VT that was secluded and yet close to town and this was perfect! Just enough space, beautiful setting, fireplace, easy parking and close enough to dinners out and activities (tubing, shopping, hiking and even glass blowing!). Manchester was a quick drive and we enjoyed several delicious meals at a few different restaurants. Highly recommend the area and this home.

Phenomenal, Relaxing Nature Getaway
The pictures for this house looked great, but it was even better in person. It was an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature, while having all the comforts of a beautiful house. We were even able to see the Northern Lights, with nearly no light pollution. I would highly recommend, and I am hoping to return sometime. 5☆

Just Perfect
We absolutely loved our stay here. You feel very secluded but your only about 15 from Manchester with plenty of shopping and restaurants. There's even a little general store about five minutes away where you can pickup just about anything you need. The house was just perfect, very clean and very comfortable. Cozied up to the fireplace with a hot tea was bliss. Definitely hope to stay here again!

This was the perfect spot for me and my husband’s honeymoon. The property is well maintained, amenities are wonderful, and minutes away from Manchester! Just everything we could possibly want from a cottage in the woods. Highly recommend, just cozy and romantic!

Rustic cottage right off highway. Easy access to Manchester downtown. Reaonably equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking. Lovely fireplace enhances the coziness and warm feelings on chilly days and nights. Nice place to stay.

Cute cabin good for a weekend stay.
The cabin was cute and had decent amenities ie: Dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV but living room furniture not great for relaxing, fireplace "smoked" and internet was very "patchy". Bathroom with big soaker tub was lovely.

Perfect getaway!
My husband and I (and our dog too) had a wonderful time at the Honeymoon Cottage. We spent a snowy Christmas Eve weekend here and it was exactly what we needed and more! It has everything you need - just bring your comfy socks and sit back and enjoy the beautiful fireplace. We will definitely return!

Much needed reset
If i could buy this place as my personal get-a-way i would in a heartbeat. As always, the place was spotless, everything you need is stocked, bedding, dishes, pots, fire wood. All you need to do is come and relax. Cant rate this place high enough.

Enjoyed our stay at the Honeymoon Cottage
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Honeymoon cottage. It was very clean and charming and had all the things we were looking for. The location to the mountains and the town were perfect. We enjoyed the cozy fireplaces and the Jacuzzi hot tub. The sound system throughout the cottage is a nice touch. We diffidently will return for future visits to the area.
