- PRIVATE DOG PARK: This cabin has "Blue Ridge Private Dog Park" directly across the street. Private: just you and your pups, no one else. The park is fully-fenced, with 0.84 acres of cleared, wooded land (no grass). *Please be mindful of potential ground hazards as the area is not groomed. You may encounter wildlife. Poop bags are provided. Please dispose of all waste and garbage in a secured trash bag and place in bear bin at the cabin. To use the dog park, there is an additional $50 for a stay of 3 nights or less or $139 for a stay of 4 nights or more.

- PEOPLE: Ensure all guests are accounted for within your reservation - maximum permitted is 6 people and 2 dogs. We DO NOT allow anyone who is not accounted for in the reservation onto the property, even if they do not plan to stay the night. Unannounced guests will result in a fee of $100 per guest, per night booked, AND you will need to vacate immediately, AND any resulting plumbing and septic costs shall be guest's responsibility.

- PETS: Up to 2 dogs welcome (no size or breed restrictions). No cats or other pets permitted. There is a $200 fee for bringing an unannounced dog or other pet. Ensure all waste is picked up. Due to local wildlife, please be mindful of your pets.

- SEPTIC/PLUMBING: ***This cabin is on a septic system*** Bathroom - Flush only toilet paper. Do not flush hygiene products, wipes (even if flushable), paper towels, or tissue, as this will cause a blockage and render all plumbing useless. ***Kitchen - Only liquids can go down the kitchen sink drain. Cooking oils, grease, fats, food debris, and coffee grounds must go into the trash. Use paper towels (provided) to absorb and wipe items clear. *** Drain screens - There are drain screens in the kitchen and bathrooms to prevent hair, food, and other items from going down the drains; these must be used at all times.***

- HOT TUB: The hot tub is emptied between every reservation, therefore the water may not be hot upon your arrival. The hot tub can reach temperatures up to 104°F. It will lose about 5°F per hour when the lid is off; weather conditions and use of the jets may expedite this cooling.

- TRASH: ***All trash and poop bags must be BAGGED and TIED in kitchen-sized 13 gallon bags, then placed in the outdoor bear-resistant trash bins. The trash company removes each bag individually; no dump truck. Trash is collected Tuesdays and Fridays.***

- FUTON: The futon is designed for convenience over comfort. If you are sensitive to mattresses, one of the traditional beds is recommended.

- FIREPLACE: Ensure the flue is open by sliding the handle that's at the top center of the fireplace all the way to the right (smoke should go up the chimney). Fires must be attended at all times. Place all cold ashes in the metal bucket provided; do not dump outside. Do not use the air conditioning and fireplace at the same time. (Not permitted for use May through August).

- INSECTS: Because this is a rural area, we recommend turning off lights not directly in use as insects are prevalent and attracted to light, especially at night. **If you are sensitive to wildlife and insects, this listing may not be the right fit**

- LAWN CARE and PEST CONTROL: Lawn maintenance and pest control is completed each month, weather permitting. You may see contractors working outside.

- OUTDOOR CUSHIONS: Outdoor cushions are located in the storage bin on the deck. To preserve them, please place cushions back in the bin when not in use.

- FENCED YARD: The fencing is reinforced with welded wire mesh. But be mindful if your pup is a little escape artist.

- BOOKS: There may be books in the Take One, Leave One library which do not represent the opinions or values of your host. If you find something offensive or inappropriate, please tuck it away and let us know.

- FLAMMABLES: No candles and no fireworks permitted anywhere on the premises.

Fabulous Thanksgiving stay!!
The cabin and property were beautiful. The creek is lovely. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. We made use of the hot tub, fireplace, grill and fire pit. The location is perfect for quick trips to downtown Blue Ridge and Mercier Farms Apple Orchards. I hope to come back again in the summer.

Absolutely loved our time here. Wished we were able to stay longer. Brought our two dogs and the property was set up extremely well for pets. Enjoyed fishing in the stream and relaxing at night by the fire pit or in the hot tub. Was a great stay ready to book again.

Most Dog Friendly Cabin I've Stayed At
This really is the dog-friendliest cabin I've ever rented. No "oh you can bring your dog but keep them off the furniture" (is that even possible?), and instead there are couch covers and dog blankets for the bed. Then you've got the private dog park across the street which was great to give the pups a place to run around. The creek is fantastic, the cabin is great, and the location is convenient.

Wonderful experience
Property was incredible. The driveway ingress and egress tests your skills but once you've mastered it's fantastic. Hope to visit again in the future.

Great access to creek
We stayed here for a week. Very relaxing, if you do not avail yourself of the local activities, such as mountain biking, which is great - I went four times. Access to the creek was the highlight. This was a really nice place and the owners made it very pleasant for a relaxing vacation.

Lovely creek side cabin
The cabin is close enough to Blue Ridge to visit the town but far enough away to enjoy the peace and of the country. It is well stocked and clean. The stream behind the cabin was wonderful. It is great place to relax after a long day of exploring.

Nothing but AMAZING!
I can’t even explain how nice this house is. From the moment we walked in it was SUPER clean and smelled amazing. The hosts provide so much. We have never stayed at a home where the hosts provided as much as they do here. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were super comfy. The outside area was amazing as well. The hosts provide so much for your furry friends as well. It rained most of the time we were there but we enjoyed all the games that were provided and got to spend quality family time together. If you are looking for a great home to stay at in Blue Ridge Ga this is a must!

Our paradise in the middle of a storm
We love our cabin by the creek. It felt like home. We planned our vacation 6 months ago. But ended using our vacation as an evacuation as Milton barreled towards Tampa Bay. The owner Debra was understanding our our situation and was very helpful. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Our 2 dogs were very welcomed. The cabin had everything we needed. The sound of the river was soothing. We love Mercier orchard and the town of Blueridge so close. We also did some hiking. Sat by the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Just what we needed to take our mind off our city and the devastation . We will be back soon!

Everything you could possibly want or need!
My husband and I stayed a week with our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time! They have every thing you could possibly want or need and have truly thought of everything! It was the most well ap pointed rental we’ve ever stayed in. Our favorite parts were the beautiful view from the deck, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, walking the dogs in the creek and the nightly fires in the lovely fire pit area! Our pups really enjoyed playing in the creek and running around in the private dog park! I wanted to mention that the back deck on the house was fully gated- this was especially convenient for us as our dogs could hang out with us enjoy the view, leash free! We will definitely rent here again when we return to Blue Ridge! Thank you to the lovely hosts for providing such beautiful, thoughtful and welcoming accommodations!

Perfect river house
Excellent river house! Our dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. We all enjoyed the river being so close to the house. The dogs played and swam. We loved using the Adirondack chairs in the river. The house was extremely clean, and everything we needed was provided. There was even toothbrushes and toothpaste in case we forgot. We didn’t use, but such a nice touch. Close to town for our college girls to go into town and shop. Ocoee river rafting close by. Highly recommend this house! Thank you for being dog friendly!!

Family Trip in Blue Ridge
We had a wonderful time at this property and there was lots to entertain our two boys (7 and 8 yo) - horseshoe, cornhole, and a desktop Pac Mac console in addition to the hot tub and being creekside. My favorite activity was taking the chairs out into the creek and relaxing in the sunshine :)

A wonderful getaway
This was by far the most well prepared and 5 star vrbo I have stayed at. Not only is it very clean and a beautiful home, but the house has everything you could need. I was very impressed. I stayed here with my family (2 young kiddos) and it was an absolute treat. My wife and I always ask each other if we would ever come back or stay in the same place? The answer is absolutely and would recommend to anyone.

Great family get away
We stayed at Bears Creek for a week. The cabin was clean and every detail was thought of… and so many activities to do just right at cabin. Our boys loved just playing in creek. I enjoyed my morning coffee on deck overlooking creek. Would highly recommend! I am pretty picky when it comes to rentals and cleanliness and this cabin exceeded my expectations.

Short fall break get away
Definitely the best well stocked with all necessities needed. Beautiful and peaceful. Lots of fun things to do without even leaving the cabin! You can tell the owners put family first but also a place for a group of friends and adults to go to relax and enjoy. Our fur baby felt at home as well. This is definitely on our list of places to stay for our next trip. Another plus is that it’s 5 miles from downtown Blue Ridge with lots of place to eat and shop.
