« Super clean and very comfortable for the two of us. Easy to get to restaurants and very close to a humble, but great brew pub. A couple of other houses nearby but they are hidden by the woods so the house feels very private. The deck and the hot tub are fantastic. Super quick responses from the host. « This is a beautiful property with amazing views and privacy. The house is very well equipped and the host is very responsive. We saw lots of deer, turkey, grouse, and lots of other birds. The view of storms rolling through we great and even had full view of a double rainbow in the valley. I also hiked over to Eagle Rock and enjoyed the spectacular view from there. « This is a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay. The sauna and view from the A-frame windows were huge perks! The master suite is huge and the decor is so fun. We loved the little farmers market at the resort and the spa treatments there especially and had fun exploring nearby Berkeley Springs too. Corrine was an incredibly communicative host as well! A few notes that we think would improve the stay for future guests: -The house was clean, but it needed a good dusting. Lots of cobwebs, dust...

« Property was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub. Saw lots of deer and turkeys. Only issue was the morning we were leaving a maintenance guy and the grass mowing guy showed up around 8 and 9 am. We would have liked to relax before we left, not feel rushed. »

« We stayed for two weeks at this cabin, it was a wonderful experience. There was hiking nearby, beautiful lakes and pool. There were plenty of things to do around the area. As well as in the cabin there was a nice fire pit outside for grilling food. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. »

« Great cabin and had a great time. Very private. Only complaint would be that there’s not much of a “yard” area. The fire pit is also located in the driveway and nestled up against a steep hillside, so sitting around the fire at night was a little awkward. Overall would recommend. »

« We spent the weekend and loved it! Surpassed expectations! So well thought out and the treats like s'mores supplies were lovely. The attention to detail was superb. Highly recommend for the perfect couples getaway! There are several small country roads to get to the cabin, so if you’re not used to, they can be a little intimidating. But, loved our entire stay! « We went for my Mom's 60th birthday. It is so peaceful and serene. The neighborhood is very quiet and set back in the woods, but it's a short trip to town and about 25 minutes from canoeing, tubing and kayaking (which I would highly recommend scheduling). « We enjoyed our stay very much at Retrievers Retreat! 2 senior adults and our very small dog, Bailey. Cabin is well kept and not too far into the woods although it is up on the mountain. Liked the condiments in the cabinets, coffee and powdered creamer, teas provided, although we did not use them. A nice wine fridge too! The bed we used on the main floor was very comfortable, and we liked the lighted mirror above the bathroom sink, shower has body wash, shampoo and conditioner in hanging bottles....

« Our family really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It’s close to town so it’s easy to shop and get a massage but it’s also secluded and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Unfortunately there was a heat wave this week so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck as much as we would have liked. »
