"The best thing about this property is the location. It is a 2 minute walk to checkpoint Charlie, which is on a Main Street (Frederick strasse). I picked this so that I could walk out the door, grab breakfast at McDonald’s and then onto the big red bus. It went perfectly. At night it’s a little walk down Frederick Strasse to restaurants. The room was clean and adequate. If I was to make any complaint it would be that the pull out couch was uncomfortable but that’s why a 20 year old slept on it...

"We had a pleasant stay here. The room was large, clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. We planned to do laundry here with the assumption there would be a laundry room, but unfortunately it was an incredibly pricey laundry service which was not within our budget... thankfully there was a nearby laundromat that we used instead! The location is a decent walk away from most tourist attractions, but this was no problem for us as we enjoy walking. I would stay here again for a short term...

"If you’re reading this review and you’re on the fence about staying at the Steinenberger, save your time and just book it. I’m an avid review reader and am here to say that words cannot describe how amazing our stay was!!! You step outside the Hauptbahnhof (on the side with the Rewe to boot) and you’re already there.
