Relax Down East in this home near Beaufort & Cape Lookout

Comfy home away from home. Plenty of room for the whole family. There is lots of outdoor games from cornhole to horse shoes. Enjoy the evening around the fire pit after grilling a delicious dinner. Minutes from Harkers Island boat ramp or take the ferry to Cape Lookout and to see the wild horses of Shackleford Banks. Historic Beaufort is ten minutes away, just 25 to Fort Macon or Atlantic Beach for a day on the shore. Plenty of board games and books for a rainy day inside as well. There’s enough room to bring the family, kayaks, boats and more.

This property is perfect for snowbirds looking to enjoy mild winters. With the first floor master and master bath and two upstairs bedrooms that would accommodate visiting family!

Harker's island house review
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the harker's island house. The house was cozy and felt like home. The location was quiet and convenient to where we needed to go. I would definitely recommend to family and friends, and would stay here again ourselves.

Feels like home
Enjoyed staying at this home. The location was just far enough away from town but still close that we didn’t have to drive far to get to a store. It is close to Harker’s Is. and other beach locations. The only thing they could improve on is making the check in and out process a little more clear. The info from the website did not match the printed info from the folder we had so it was a bit confusing but nothing that caused an issue. Over all we would stay here again if we had the chance.

Cute house in Beaufort
We had a great stay! Super cute older house with lots of character! Nicely decorated. House was clean other than pet hair that was all over the carpet. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of space for my family, lots of games/books for kids and adults. Short drive to boat ramp on Harker’s Island. Close to Beaufort and Morehead City. Driveway is dangerous when trying to back boat in and pulling out onto roadway. Back yard is fenced in which is great for kids. House is close to the road and traffic was heard all night long ( week of July 4th). Had to check in down town Beaufort and drop off keys at Beaufort Realty which was super inconvenient. A keypad would be nice to avoid the extra driving time.
