Beautiful mid century modern retreat with the view of the serene wooded back yard. View is even more beautiful during the fall season. Large windows surrounds the house, filled with natural light. Outdoor patio area upstairs and downstairs. Beautifully Decorated with mid century modern furniture. Fenced in yard aream no.

2-Night Stay
The house is in a really lovely location and the neighborhood is really cute. Communication with the host was great. She responded to questions right away. The house itself was older and could definitely use a bit of updating and some maintenance. The beds were very comfortable.

Lots of space for all the activities
Hard to find, especially in the dark due to overgrown ornamental grass at mailbox and no lights in drive. Had difficulty with ovens and dishwasher which was frustrating. Once we turned ovens to convection, they finally maintained temperature. There was no dishwasher soap although the host did offer to bring some, we had already gone out to buy it. Pool table was a big hit with our group. A big improvement could be made by putting felt pads on the bottoms of the chairs so they don’t scrape loudly against the wood floor every time you move them. Please re-tip the pool cues Plenty of room for our big group. Comfortable beds, big TV for watching the important college football game. Loved the natural light and the nature in the area. Saw deer, kids found a small frog, and a squirrel with only a tiny stub of a tail. Overall, very good experience.

Nice and close to Bedford Valley Golf Course
Perfect place for a family with pets…our daughter had a state golf tournament at Bedford Valley and this home is only 10 minutes away. Has a fenced in area for your pets and enough space for a large family or group.

Awesome
The owners are very appreciative and communicate very well. Stayed there with my large family for a wedding and had the best time. Perfect dinner table for big family, huge tv, large deck, Jacuzzi, yard for your pets. I would stay here again in a minute.

The house is very dirty. Leftover trash in the bathroom waste baskets ….
The house was in a very nice area close to everything the grounds outside were very nice. Although most of the sliding doors had sticks in them because they would not lock which to me is a safety issue. There was leftover garbage in the bathroom trash cans including female items. The drawers utensils and cookware were disgusting and dirty . The amount of space is great and it is an older style the beds were comfortable. That the place was in need of some serious scrubbing. We were there for family wedding and the condition of the house in Cleaning this really took a toll on the weekend.

Needs a lot of cleaning and maintenance work.
When you first pull up you see a lawn landscape that is way overgrown. Walking up the steps to get in, part of the wooden handrail is split in half and not safe to hold anyone. Upon entry of the house it is surface clean, but could use a good dusting and cleaning (removing big plant pots with old dirt). The deck has moss all over it and not really usable. The deck furniture cushions were black with mold. The house is equipped for at least 10, but only 6 chair at the dining table and one folding chair. In addition, only 9 plates. The lower level has one bath, which is fine, but with two bedrooms sharing one bath, the bedrooms should be equipped with mirrors and some type of furniture to put your suitcases on or any other personal items. Bed with two nightstands was it. The problem with our suitcases on the floor with our clean clothes in them, was it allowed the earwigs and other little bugs we found to get into our suitcases. Hot tub was a nice feature, but the patio stones around the tub was mostly covered in a green moss, should be power washed regularly, just like the deck. Loved the area and the golf course we played at, but would definitely book another place to stay.

There was plenty of room to accommodate a group of people. The property is well maintained. The hot tub was a big hit with our group. I would recommend staying here.

Friends Giving
The house was very nice and spacious. The house was very clean but the furniture could use some changing. I would recommend changing all furniture except for the comfy couch in the living room. In addition, i recommend taking a look at the oven. When cooking using both ovens at the same time, the ovens shut off, leaving our beautiful bird uncooked until we noticed. The house location was nice and the views were great too. We also recommend getting some blinds, the sun our true enemy this stay. But we would use again! Thank you!

A nice, but rundown property
The house worked fine for us and what we needed it for, but overall, the house is not at all user friendly, and rundown. When we arrived, the wifi was not working, and the owner was unable to do anything remotely to fix it. I spent an hour resetting the router and configuring it. The speaker system for the living room required a hard reset, downloading an app and creating an account to use. They worked well, but definitely not a good choice of speakers for a rental property. The main issue was that the house itself was falling apart, literally. Most everything was broken to some extent. The soundbar for the main tv was cutting in and out, and the buttons on the remote needed to change audio source also didnt work. Another review mentioned the ovens dont work, and the owner told me they did, but they were broken in a weird way. They would get to the preheat temp, then stop supplying heat but still say it was at 350. We had to keep turning off and resetting it to 350 to keep the temp high enough to cook anything. The cool living room fireplace doesnt work. The sliding doors to the outside deck were very difficult to slide open enough to use. That being said, it is a very pet friendly house, with a good fenced in yard and convenient gates in the house to keep the puppers constrained. The layout was very cool for a weekend hangout. In short, cool house, depending on what you want to use it for. Just be prepared to fix things or make do.

Disappointed girls weekend
We had a great Christmas cookie baking weekend planned with girlfriends. It all went south when we turned on the ovens. Ovens didn’t work. We contacted the host and she said she had no one to come out to fix the ovens. She said “Ovens were not necessity like heat, lights or water. But don’t I pay for the whole house???? The house was filthy. The pantry and cabinets were full of open food, broken appliances and utensils and the shelves were covered with debris. There were no locks on the glass exterior sliding doors, only wooden rods. This felt unsafe for us woman. We found salamanders in the lower level bedroom, that we had to remove, Totally Gross. The carpets in the bedrooms were stained and so was the only sofa in the upper level. You can tell this house is very pet friendly. Yuck!! Fireplace had no remote to start. 4 coffee pots, but only one worked… Note to host. Clean out the cabinet and linen closets, fix the ovens, get rid of all unwanted food and items in drawers and cabinets. Replace carpet. This house could be awesome if only someone cared!

Certain amenities not working that were listed.
The main reason we rented this location was the hot tubs. After I got there, I discovered the private hot tub in the master bedroom did not work. Contacted the host who told me it was not working and to use the outside one. Took the top off the outside one to find an un unkept hot tub. Disgusting mildew odor and had mold. The smell coming from it makes you sick to your stomach! No directions on how to work anything in the house. Had a great TV and surround sound system if you could figure out how to use it. Went all weekend long without TV. Beyond that house was beautiful!

Perfect!
This was the perfect place for our group. The location was great since we had a several day event at the Kellogg Arena just a few mintues away. The house is spacious and beautiful modern style. The fenced-in area and gates on deck and stairs made it very pet and kid friendly. The large windows and doors allowed the outdoor enjoyment even from the inside of the house. The lot is wooded and brings a smile to anyone watching the constant show put on by the chipmunks, squirrels and birds. Since it is wooded, be sure to bring mosquito spray to allow you to enjoy the deck more. There are only 2 TV's, one in family room and the other in the main bedroom. The other 3 bedrooms do not have a TV, so if you are used to falling asleep to a TV, you might want to bring a tablet or other accommodation. We had to make 2 changes to our stay dates. The host was not only fast in communication but also very understanding and very accommodating to those changes. I would definitely look forward to staying there again!

Fun and spacious home
Great modern home in a great location. Even though we didn’t bring a pet it was clearly very pet friendly. The pool table was a fun touch. We didn’t get use the hot tub because it was so hot out already, but it looked great. Great place to spread out and enjoy some golf at Gull lake.

Beautiful home
The house was beautiful and large. There was plenty of space so that my group of 10 didn't feel crowded. The location was quiet. Cleanliness was lacking. The garage was full of trash/cans from whoever was there before us so it reeked of stale beer. The hot tub needs to be cleaned. The water was greenish and had a film on it. We actually vacuumed when we got there because the rug in the living room had stuff on it. We would definitely stay there again because of the home itself and the location. It was a fun weekend.

Lots of room!
We spent 5 days here with kids and grandkids, 3 families in all. There was so much room in this house! Even with 10 people we never felt on top of each other. The Blackstone is a nice addition. Overall we enjoyed the house and would recommend for large groups.
