« We enjoyed our stay at the "shed." Plenty of room and a nicely stocked kitchen so we could prepare all our meals and not dine out. There is a very large fridge, electric stove and plenty of dishes, and pots and pans. The Klopps are a sweet family, and we will definitely stay again. The dogs are very friendly, and nice. It is close to the interstate, but when you close the door to the bedroom to sleep, it is well insulated and we got a good nights sleep. This place is a little gem!If you travel...

« The cabin was so clean and cozy with a gorgeous stone fireplace and comfortable furnishings. We were visiting the area to view the Sandhill crane migration, and their flight pattern was right over the cabin. The cabin was close to town but seemed remote. »

« Our property we rented worked out great It was good to be in the middle of Kearney. We visited the Cranes at dawn and dusk. And our last morning we visited the Prairie Chicken.we would come back to our cute little house and coffee bar. Maggie, the owner must have had a blast decorating the house. Our first night in Kearney there were 80 mph winds. It did a number on our screen door. Maggie promptly offered to send her husband over to fix the door. Great place snd experience. »

« What a great place to stay to watch the crane migration. The first evening we sat on the beautiful patio and had sandhill cranes all around us. Close to the best bird viewing spots. Clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen. And enjoyed the fireplace. We loved this place. And would definitely stay here again. »

« I debated writing this review but after staying in 3 other rentals during our trip, this was the only disappointing booking we had. We arrived & the overhead garage door was left up, with the door connecting into the house unlocked. Check in instructions stated there would be a lock box near the door with a house key, so immediatly I messaged the host asking if I should be concerned. « Three of us stayed at this location and were delighted with how close we were to view the Sandhill Cranes in the Spring. The house was great for spreading ourselves out and having comfort in bed accommodations, dining (cooking dinner ourselves), and just relaxing. It was very, very peaceful and a quiet location, which we sincerely appreciated. We would go back there again. Thank you! »
