Our family had a wonderful time spending a week here. The cottage has recently updated kitchen and bathroom, so everything works well and feels clean. The kitchen is very well stocked, so the only extra we needed was a set of nutcrackers to get crack some lobster. The one time we bothered the property manager for more soap, she brought it by promptly. The cottage is small, so with 4 of us it was definitely tight, but we made it work and spent lots of time in the large yard and on the beach. Like most places on the island, there aren't many stores or restaurants close by (there are a few good ones in nearby Victoria by the Sea), so plan your meals in advance so you aren't surprised by closed signs. Lots of places close early. Otherwise, the location is great, being a short drive from the bridge and a short walk to sandy beaches that are virtually private and extend for miles. The water is shallow and warm, excellent for kids to play in. Would definitely stay here again.
