"The hotel was centrally located, close to many restaurants. Within walkable distance to downtown and Petco park, the bay, USS Midway Museum and Balboa Park. Room was very spacious, it included a kitchen and full size fridge, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and even dish soap and a sponge. The only negatives I found were lack of parking space (had to park off street and there was barely any spaces available). I had to park a block away and pay $8 for every 12 hours of parking. "This is our second stay in this hotel. It's now owned by Wyndham and seems to be a timeshare hotel (be ready for the pitch by the concierge to attend a meeting). Not to worry, the rooms still have the style and spaciousness that they always had. There's some city noise but not as much as downtown. We like the area near Balboa Park and felt safe even at night. Will stay here again."
