"The hosts are amazing. They greeted us at a local restaurant and we followed them up to their beautiful home. They are very proud of their family home that is over 300 years old. It was completely renovated and has everything you need. We loved our stay. The road up to the house is quite windy, but if you take your time, it is fine. Aside from that, I highly recommend this property."

"Lots of space, great pool, comfy house, peaceful surroundings and beautiful landscape. The house is a traditional farm house and doesn't have a lot of modern comforts, but it's perfect for a comfy, peaceful escape from the modern world We had a comfortable and happy stay, the pool is a highlight, it was great and we had a lot of fun there. It is a bit remote, there is a nearby service station with some limited food and drink options if you're desperate, but you will need to drive to explore....

"Casa Assilah is a really lovely property situated (more or less) at the top end of the beautiful Spanish mountain town of Cutar. It is fairly remote although a 10 minute drive away you'll find a bigger town with a really decent supermarket and petrol station (you drive through this town each day). It also has bars etc, but we didn't use them. From the main road near to Velez-Malaga the drive to Cutar will take around 20/25 minutes due to the twisting mountain roads and Road Calming measures....

"We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The check in/out process was smooth and flexible. The villa was clean (thankyou the lovely cleaning team) and very well equipped, it felt like a home from home. On arrival there was tea/coffee/milk/juice /water left which was very welcome due to our late check in time. Basic provisions were all provided (salt/pepper/oil/toilet roll/bin bags etc) which really helps and made feeding everyone a breeze. The pool and garden was kept...

"You will be in a home from home in Jose & Teresa’s beautiful Andalusian house. The pool is huge and gorgeous, the house is well stocked and absolutely spotlessly clean. The area is private and quiet. Be aware that the restaurants in the town only serve evening food on the weekend, but there is a great supermarket only 5 minutes drive away. The hosts were absolutely excellent and helped us whenever we needed. We would happily stay again!"
