"We really enjoyed our stay in this authentic farmhouse. The decorations and woodwork were amazing. Comfortable beds and, despite being an older home, all the modern conveniences. The location is in a beautiful community and we loved our walks through the town. A bit of a language barrier for us with the gentleman living there (we, unfortunately, do not speak French or German), however, there was prompt and excellent communication with the owner. "The best thing about the property was the friendly staff. We came for a music festival and the front desk clerk helped us make reservations at a restaurant where music was playing. Then the proprietress was super helpful with helping us locate the bus stop and other things. Very friendly."

"We first stayed here as the Bella Lui Hotel but it is now run by a youth hostel organisation. It has lost the charm of the private hotel and is now, because it is a hostel, more functional. The period furniture and ornaments have been replaced by standard facilities. However, the staff are very helpful and location is the key - within walking distance of Crans centre with some amazing views. But the breakfast is the big disappointment. "The buffet breakfast was amazing and included in the room rate. We had beautiful weather and took the ferry ride to Interlaken which we highly recommend doing. The walk to the falls is a must. Altogether a wonderful experience in this historic luxury hotel."
