"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is located at the end of a dead end street so plenty of easy parking. I would recommend having a car for this apartment. We had a tremendous thunderstorm on our first night and had a very short blackout. Unbelievably our host came over through the downpour to make sure we were ok. There is a large grocery store about 5 minutes away to pick up supplies. We had a great dinner out at Le Serre only a few minutes away....

The location is ideal, the view is exceptional and the host is warm, welcoming and shares important area travel tips: from when to step onto the balcony for sunrise, to where to park and catch the bus to Taormina and Mt Etna. She lives her work and it shows — from the grounds to the apartment filled with conveniences for her guests. She even checked on us after we left. We give our highest recommendation! We have a new friend in Sicily. "

"We held a family reunion at Marilena and Sylvia‘s place and everyone had a great time. It is clean, welcoming, nearby sights such as Catania and Aetna are easily reached, pool area was just perfect for us and the garden is incredibly beautiful. "The location was lovely, beautiful grounds, pool and sea access. The apartment did lack a few basics. There were 3 odd mugs, no bowls, no wine glasses only an odd selection of different glasses. There was no sharp knife or chopping board. We purchased glasses, bowls and knife. Towels were supposed to be changed after 4 days but weren’t."

"Very nice accommodation with nice spaces and excellent provisions and equipment. Spectacular views at many different levels of the house are an exciting feature. Everything needed to make the stay pleasant was available in the house. The location is great as Taormina and Catania are within an hour's drive away and being close to the three Aci's is very useful. Lots of restaurants abound. There were only two negatives and they were 1. the house is located on a busy street and therefore parking...

"This is not a home at all, it’s an abandoned hostel in the ghetto. Do not rent here unless you can’t afford a tent to sleep in Half the units are outside and half are in. Dirty, rundown, infested, warehouse hostel that should be condemned. Rented for 4 days and My entire party of 8 left after a few hours. Make this Owner provide pictures of this place before you book. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOUR HOMELESS"

"The property is glorious. We were met by our terrific host Viviana and everything explained. The villa is very well equipped and exceeds what is written in the VRBO promo. We and our two middle schoolers, fell in love with the place. As we were departing, one of our cars had a flat tire. Viviana came to the rescue in a short time, got us to a repair shop immediately. The tire was repaired and less than an hour later we were on our way without losing any of our precious vacation time in Sicily....

It was perfect in every way and the owners and staff were gracious, generous in sharing their time and knowledge of places to visit, restaurants, etc. We stayed for a week snd loved every moment! "The property is very beautiful and the views of the sea from the slope of the Etna are spectacular. Very quiet, comfortable accommodations, very nice swimming pool. The location is excellent, a short drive to the sea and also close to Taormina and Catania, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to go back for a longer stay."
