« Not staffed, you receive a code for entry on day of arrival, all worked great. The room was clean, decorated nicely, had a huge bathroom with large shower and free toiletries. Internet was fast and reliable. It was very quiet. The heart chocolates on the pillows (it was Valentines the day after our stay) were a cute touch. »

« A convenient place to stay, just a short walk from the train station. The room was nicely decorated and although advertised as cosy, it was fairly spacious. The bed was comfortable and more than sufficient amenities for a few nights stay. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner and the shower wasn’t very hot or powerful. Great food in the pub downstairs from a varied menu. »

« Had a wonderful weekend away and this little gem is in the heart of the centre which is great. Very compact&quite small but very cute. Parked car opposite on paid carpark. Decor is beautiful,bit dark for applying make-up ladies and had trouble 1st day with no hot water but within 10mins it was sorted so all good. »

« Good communication throughout as this hotel.does look closed initially.anf I think it works on opening for bookings as no main reception and on booking out leave keys in room and leave via fire exit. Demi however was extremely welcoming and apologetic about there being no kitchen or bar services due to.power .. The room was very spacious, plenty of hot water and beds very comfy. Don't let other reviews put you off. Although your not normal run of the mill hotel were staff are on hand think...

« Really well presented B&B, clean & tidy. The hosts are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very close to centre of Windermere, only 5 minutes walk to the shops. Lake is about 20-30 minutes walk from the door. »
