"The Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg is in every way a magnificent hotel. The staff were second to none in their efforts to make their guests feel at home. For example, I had a small technical problem with the TV. A quick explanation from reception and it was fine. They followed up with me shortly after, not by phone to the room. They personally came to my room on the sixth floor. A truely brilliant hotel"

"If you have visited a Hundertwasser building before, then here, you get what you expect. Quirky ceramics, curviness and accessible greenery. Our room was comfortable and quiet although at the front of the hotel - helped maybe by the section of tramline in the street being closed. We only stayed for 2 nights and didn't have breakfast there, as there are plenty local bakeries close by. It is central and very convenient for walking round the sights of Magdeburg. It suited us very well."
