"Stayed 1 night while on a 10 day road trip. Overall good for a night stay as a layover before moving on to our next destination. Had to checkin at a different property for some reason (High Country Lodge). Beds were comfortable but no breakfast."

"We stayed at this house as a spot to play Edgewood golf course and gamble at harrahs. It’s a perfect location and perfect house set up"

"It was great staying in the cabin! Kelly was very responsive when booking cabin information. The cabin was nice it had the things needed for our stay. Only downside was there was a bear roaming the area and went inside some cars however nothing of damage. We thought of using the bear horn in the house but it didn't work. We did report the bear sighting. Overall the cabin is very nice. I would definitely recommend the stay here just bring your own bear horn if its not winter time due to bears...

"We stayed at Bear Haven for the second time, celebrating Thanksgiving. It’s a comfortable house for our extended family. The nephews loved playing outside in the snow. The kitchen works great for cooking big family meals. And we loved relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the wintery view."

"Our family spent 5 days here for the wedding, end of July beginning of August. House is very nice, spacious and accommodated our group comfortably. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and more. Beds were comfortable. Portable fans and heaters in rooms. Daily temperatures mid 70s to low 80s, with cooler nights in high 50s-60s Fahrenheit. "

The only hard part is getting off the freeway to get to the house. Other than that our stay was everything we were looking for. We are already planning on returning next year. "

"kitchen/great room, rooms, beds, bathrooms, deck all great. One note: the pull out bed in the Rec room was too dirty to use-we had a spare blow up so used that instead. Stove/oven in kitchen great. Could not get pizza oven to stay lit even changing tanks to a full one. Could not get BBQ or fire pit to light. Tank was fine-we took it down to the Beach and BBQ'd there. Loved time at TP Beach! Returned access card under large bear on top of pantry cupboard. "

"Great family vacation. This home is excellent for families. If it just had sun shades in the main room it would be perfect. Kitchen well equipped, kids loved the games and played in snow right outside house. Close to everything at South Lake Tahoe. Host was great. Great place to stay and enjoy."
