"If you need to leave early, you might have problems. Nobody at reception before 8am. House is locked up. You need to pay your check the night before otherwise they get very unhappy. The restaurant was good. Waiters friendly. Surroundings and landscape great. Owner should accommodate early leaving guests needs. Serve earlier breakfast and allow Dropbox for keys and someone at reception in the early morning to allow easy bill pay. Thank you."

"It was a lovely hotel. Beautiful building, fantastic rooms that were very spacious and set in a wonderful location. Food and service at restaurant was also tremendous. My only slight criticism was that I had a poor sleep due to the mattress being a type of memory foam that I personally found very uncomfortable. I understand mattresses are a very individual thing and it really is a minor criticism, but unfortunately I had a very poor sleep due to it "

The worker at subway spoke English and walked me to the door. Its an apartment style hotel without a front desk so I appreciated that the owners emailed details to enter without having to make the extra step to contact them first. The email was in German but i just used the translate function on my phone to read it....
