"This house was deceptively huge. It just kept going and going to the back with bedroom after bedroom. Plenty of open space for family gathering time, lots of nice amenities (games, TV, outdoor wrap around deck). Parking can be a little challenging as the driveway runs up the hill, opposite of traffic, but we were able to back in which made exiting easier. "A family and pet friendly house with two separate living rooms and a fenced-in card complete with its own sledding hill are enough reason to give this property 5 stars across the board in my opinion but there are many more reasons I would recommend this property and would happily stay there again any time. "We had a great stay at the Deer Lodge over MLK weekend. There was no snow, but around a half hour drive to Leland for tubing. The lines there got long and my boys told me they’d rather be at the cabin in the hot tub, lol. My toddler loved the play kitchen in the garage and my older ones made use of the closet full of games. The kid/baby items (plates, silverware, high chair, pack and play) were super helpful! The host was quick to respond when I had a question. Thanks!"

We loved that the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils, and the bathrooms were well-supplied. Groveland is a charming town, and the house is conveniently located for exploring Yosemite. While we missed having access to Pine Mountain Lake, we found another nearby lake to rent boats for a fun day on the water. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!"
