"I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...

The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. "The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled.
